Stick with It (Digital Copy)Stick With It is a mid tempo novelty that utilizes an unusual assortment of instruments: the triangle, rhythmic sticks, tambourine, the un traditional cardboard box and even a few foot stomps. Rhythms are limited to quarter notes and rests, whole rests and paired eighth notes. Half rests are purposely replaced with quarter rests for ease of reading. There are accents, but they will occur when two or more instruments are playing in rhythmic unison.

The 2 snare drums assume the lead in a call-and-response at letter B

The mallet parts are written using simple melodies and scale patterns

Letter D marks the beginning of a faster tempo and the solo ‘trade-offs’ between the sand blocks and hand blocks
