This 19 year old Glendronach 1995 came from Cask 4943, an Oloroso sherry puncheon cask with an outturn of 633 bottles. This one is very typical of the Oloroso driven mid 1990s Glendronachs,

On the palate it retains that beautiful elegant peat smoke but also has some lovely fruit character and a touch of sandalwood
